Social media is big.. it has impact.. and it is here to stay.
So how does your business capitalise on it?
Most businesses these days have a Facebook page (if you don't please contact us and we can assist you through the setting up process.) However, once you have one.. what do you do with it???
Social media is a great way to communicate, showcase your products or services and get feedback from your customers, but where do you start?
Well, the most important part is 'communicating with your customers'. You have to start the conversation! In a similar vein to the discussion in a previous newsletter, you need to think about what to say and what to post.
On the right there are a few links to articles that give you some hints about how to come up with the right words to say to your customers. And January is a great time to sit down and work it out.. for the whole year ahead!
Specifically for Facebook, you need to spend time working on your business Facebook presence:
Facebook is an opportunity for your business to get closer to your customers, to become 'real', to have a personality.
The good thing (or bad thing) is your customers can comment what they like (or don't like) on there.... so if you get some bad feedback you need to have thought through how you would respond. There is also a link to an article outlining what you need to think about if that occurs.
